Choosing Your Hydropanel Kit

We recommend selecting your Hydropanel Kit size based on the number of people in your household .

For households of 1-2 people: 1 Hydropanel Kit

For households of 3-4 people: 2 Hydropanel Kit

If you're interested in a Kit bigger than 2 Hydropanel units, you can contact us directly or speak with your SOURCE representative during the Virtual Site Survey.

The size you choose for your pressurized storage tank will depend on how much water your household drinks and your local climate. Your SOURCE Hydropanel will produce water and feed the tank until the tank is full so that on days without sun, for example, there is still available water in the tank for dispensing.

The 4.8-gal tank is 2.8-gal usable and fits underneath a sink. This size is ideal for 1 Hydropanel installation or homes that consume a lot of water regularly.

The 20-gal tank is 11-gal usable and fits in a utility closet or pantry. This size is ideal for 2 or more Hydropanel installation or users that travel overnight often on long weekends.

The 40-gal tank is 22-gal usable and fits in a utility closet. This size is ideal for 2 or more Hydropanel installation or users that travel often for weeks at a time, or those in cold climates that will need more storage over the winter.

It is recommended that the pressurized storage tanks are installed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. The tanks meet NSF 58 testing standards and are built with FDA approved materials. The carbon block and mineral cartridge kits are included in the pressurized storage tank kit.

How SOURCE Works

1. SOURCE fans pull air into the system, capturing water vapor.
2. Solar energy releases the vapor into an airstream.
3. Hydropanel’s smart controller creates pure water via passive condensation.
4. The water is ozonated and mineralized for health and taste.
5. SOURCE stores the water in a pressure tank until you dispense it.
